DAY 28

In the evening around 8pm, we were all brought to the Club building for our Interaction Night. We had games and performance by Np students and the local students. It was an enjoyable night prepared by the local students

It was very nice that the local students actually plan something for us. This is definitely a perfect gifts for all of us coming to a foreign country to study :D

DAY 27

MUSCLES ACHING!!!! OH MY TIAN! From my bed, to my door, the distance is only a few steps, but I got difficulties on that!

Okay, we had our IS lesson in the noon. Before that we accompany the local students to the near-by supermarkets to buy foods and drinks for tomorrow’s exchange programme (: Aftermath we went for lunch. AND THEN,WE WERE LATE FOR OUR IS LESSON. ULTRA SUPER DUPER OMEGA LATE~ feel so guilty when I saw papa Loh shaking his head.

DAY 25 AND 26

Wake up early in the morning and prepare to go WU DANG SHAN.

As usual, for weekend trip, once we reached that place, we will have our lunch.

Lunch was normal. Just eat what we are given. :x

Stacking bag UP UP UP and prepare to walk up stairs :D

After a long and tiring day, we finally had our DINNER!

Weather was so cold in Wu Dang Shan that I always borrow thermal wear from hab hab :D

As guess what, I SAW VEGETARIAN FOODS IN WUHAN! LIKE-FINALLY-ONLY!

But this WUDANG TAOIST VEGETARIAN CULTURAL EXPERIENCE CENTER really disappoints me D:

BECAUSE they sell meet inside. Is different from its signboard! 挂羊头卖狗肉!

SICKENING!!!

Dinner was fine, the hostel was not-so-okay, Because my bed and pillow smell horrible. Lucky is only for one night. :D

The next day morning we went for hiking! The hiking makes me walked up 6000plus steps of stairs up and 6000plus steps of stairs down. At first all walked up together, some got tired, and rest, other chiong all the way up. But I’m grateful that my friends didn’t abandon me :D when I reached the summit, it gives me a sense of achievement.

REFLECTIONS: climbing up Wu Dang Shan is not as easy as it thoughts. I feel like giving up half way as it is really ultra tiring. Friends around me encouraged me and I persevered (: this is only one of the minor challenges in life, in the future, there will be more to come. What makes life interesting are challenges and life will definitely be more meaningful when we overcome all the challenges on our own. Because of all these challenges, life is never going to be easy (:

DAY 24

INTERACTION DAY(: We gathered and set off to an orange plantation.

The oranges here, either ripe or unripe, their color will still remain GREEN~

All of us are inexperience in plucking SWEET oranges, most of the oranges we pluck, are sourrrr, super sour!

Finally one decent photo, with all of us inside (: awesome 20 (:

In the evening, as usual, the boys have theirs soccer match…

Singapore VS China :D

But the match was kind of boring…

REFLECTION: This is my first time to a plantation. Unlike Singapore, this place is more country side feeling, quiet and comfortable.

DAY 22

K singing with the locals :D I guess this will be the first and the last time I’m entering China KTV.

Group photos before we set off (:

Their KTV are actually quite nice. The local students insisted to give all of us a treat, thus we decided to give ‘em a treat before we leave Wuhan (:

When we got back to hostel, enqi and me decided to COOK :D

Actually the spaghetti doesn’t really taste nice, but shouldn’t be choosy ._. I remember every time I reach home late, and never had my dinner, my parents will ask me whether I want to eat or not. But now in China, I don’t have my awesome parents with me D:

DAY 21

COMMON TEST! I can’t stop to worry about my result, even though I’m just aiming a pass. Especially when everyone says ‘THE PAPER IS EASYYYYY’, my heart sank D: well, well, well, it over, don’t ponder anymore.

After CT, some of us when to guang gu(again) for shopping and food! First, we have Mac for lunch…

Then we have PIZZA for dinner!

Woot~! SUPER DUPER DUPER FATTENING!

DAY 19

WENT TO BU XING JIE FOR SHOPPINGS! Nothing much…

The most shocking scene and the only thing I can remember is one china lady was fighting with a security guard. From our tour guild, he says that the women are selling balloons, and it is illegal to do that. At first, the security guard asked the lady to stop selling, but the lady didn’t take his advice. Thus the guard used something sharp and pokes all the balloons. The lady got frustrated and starts hitting the guard! They were shouting at each other on the street!

In Singapore, we don’t see anyone will see things illegally on the street. Because, if he/she does that, the very next minute, policemen will turn up in front of him/her.

DAY 18

WUHAN CITY TOUR :D First, we went to Hubei Provincial Museum (: and we saw world class TOILET!

Actually is just a normal toilet like what we always see in Singapore, but is like clean toilet, with toilet bowl is very rare in china :x

The Museum has a large collection of 200,000 cultural relics (Pottery, porcelains, jade, bronze vessels, ancient weapons and ancient musical instruments)

Next, we went to biggest scenery tourist attraction in Wuhan, also the largest lake within a city in China. It is located at the south bank of the Yangtze River.

After the city tour, we went to 小吃街.

The foods were kind of expensive over there. Maybe is because is a place mainly for tourists. And I only have potatoes for my lunch! Awwww~!

Aftermath, we went to Yellow Crane Tower (黄鹤楼).

Reflections: today’s tour is definitely an enriching one. Stories behind these historical sites are very interesting and new to most of us. Some of the stories are told to us when we were in primary and secondary school, and here we are standing where the stories took place. Amazing right? Sometimes is just hard to believe that the history book of China is just right in front of my eyes.

DAY 17

BRAND NEW MONTH (: EXAM result’s out! Happy to say, I PASSEDDD! In the evening, we went to a different stall to have our dinner! An unpleasant dinner! Because foods are super oily and dirty! Insects and hairs are found in the rice!

After we told them to change the rice for us, we heard the boss scolded his staffs, makes us feel so guilty complaining. But I think that in FNB, hygiene is definitely important. And I don’t see the local practicing hygiene D:

And none of us dare to touch the rice even though they changed a new bowl of rice for us. We didn’t really had a filling meal too D: bad experience!
